The state Department of Public Health announced 4 additional confirmed and probable cases of monkeypox in Massachusetts within the past seven days, bringing the total number of cases in the commonwealth to 449 residents, as of Nov. 17. In the previous week, there were 6 additional cases.
The state announced its first case of monkeypox on May 18.

Online reporting of in-home positive COVID tests results sought
Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet health departments are asking residents and visitors to record the results of any at-home COVID tests, to help public officials fully understand the spread of the virus in the communities. Results are confidential and anonymous.
If you currently reside or have been in Provincetown, Truro or Wellfleet during the past 14 days and have tested positive for COVID-19 using a home test kit (e.g., BinaxNOW, iHealth, QuickVue), fill out the form at https://www.provincetown-ma.gov/1364/COVID-19-Information-Page.

From Oct. 30 to Nov. 12, the testing positivity rate for Provincetown was 11.36%, higher than last week, according to the state Department of Public Health database. The number of lab-confirmed positive cases in that time frame was less than five, according to the database. Results from at-home rapid tests are not reported on the state platform.
